Vivelle is a medicine to replace estrogen if not enough is produced by ovaries or they are removed; prevent weak bones (osteoporosis) in postmenopausal women; or treat menopausal conditions, including vaginal dryness, burning, or itching; or hot flashes). It may also be used by your physician to treat certain other conditions.
It refers to estrogen hormones. It replaces natural estrogens in women when not enough estrogen is produced.
