Vazotan is a medicine to relieve symptoms of sneezing, runny nose, pressure, sinus congestion, cough associated with colds, allergies, and infections of upper respiratory tract. It may also be used by your physician to treat certain other conditions.
It refers to decongestant, cough suppressant, and antihistamine combination. The antihistamine blocks histamine effects, which cause allergy symptoms like sneezing, and watery eyes. The decongestant drains nasal and sinus passages, thus relieving pressure and congestion. The cough suppressant makes the brain to reduce cough reflex and dry cough.
