Vicks Formula 44M is used to relieve pain symptoms, sneezing, sinus congestion, runny nose, cough associated with colds, allergies, and infections of upper respiratory tract. It may also be used by your physician to treat certain other conditions.
It refers to analgesic, antihistamine, cough suppressant and decongestant combination. The decongestant constricts blood vessels and reduces the nasal passages swelling. The antihistamine blocks histamine effects, which cause allergy symptoms like sneezing, and watery eyes. The cough suppressant and analgesic make the brain to reduce dry or unproductive cough and releave pain.
