Uroxatral is a medicine to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia symptoms (BPH) in men having enlarged prostate. It may also be used by your physician to treat certain other conditions.
It refers to alpha-blockers. It blocks the lower urinary tract receptors, relaxing smooth muscles in the prostate and bladder neck. This decreases the BPH symptoms and improves the flow of urine.
