Univasc is a medicine to treat high blood pressure. It may be used alone or combined with certain other medicines. It may also be used by your physician to treat certain other conditions.
The medicine refers to angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (ACE inhibitors). It works by lowering certain body chemicals, causing the narrowing of blood vessels and storage of sodium and fluids in the kidneys.
