Thyrogen is a medicine to perform tests in patients having thyroid cancer.
It refers to TSH (recombinant human thyroid stimulating hormones). It binds to TSH receptors on thyroid cancer tissue as well as on normal thyroid cells. It determines the presence of thyroid cancer cells (if present).
