Generic name: Chlorthalidone
Thalitone is a medicine to treat high blood pressure. It may be combined with some other medicines to treat retention of fluid due to kidney or liver disorders, heart failure, some other disorders, or medicines, including estrogens, corticosteroids or some other. It may also be used by your physician to treat certain other conditions.
It refers to thiazide-like diuretics. It increases the potassium and sodium elimination from the urine, thus increasing water elimination.
