Tegretol is a medicine to treat high blood pressure. It may be used alone or combined with certain other medicines. This medicine may be combined with other medicines to improve survival of patients after a heart attack or manage heart failure. It may also be used by your physician to treat certain other conditions.
It refers to direct renin inhibitors. It helps blood vessels relax. This decreases high blood pressure and increases the ability of the heart to pump blood.
