Tasmar is a medicine to treat the disease of Parkinson. It may be used alone or combined with other medicines (carbidopa/levodopa). It is used when other medications cannot be taken or do not help.
It refers to COMT (catechol-o-methyltransferase) inhibitors. It prolongs the levodopa anti-Parkinson effect.
