Tusnel is a medicine to relieve the symptoms of runny nose, cough, sneezing, throat and airway irritation associated with colds, allergies and also infections of upper respiratory tract. It may also be used by your physician to treat certain other conditions.
It refers to expectorant, antihistamine, and cough suppressant combination. The expectorant looses lung secretions and mucus and thus making cough more productive. The antihistamine blocks the histamine action, thus reducing allergic symptoms including sneezing and watery eyes. The cough suppressant makes the brain to decrease the cough reflex and reduce dry cough.
