Sinemet is a medicine for Parkinson disease and parkinsonism-like symptoms associated with other diseases. It may also be used by your physician to treat certain other conditions.
It refers to antidyskinetic combination. Levodopa forms a substance in the body and brain, thus reducing Parkinson disease symptoms including tremors. Carbidopa makes levodopa to affect the brain.
