Selegiline

Brand name: Eldepryl

Selegiline is a medicine to treat the disease of Parkinson. It is used with levodopa/carbidopa.

It refers to monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAO inhibitors). It prolongs the levodopa activity to slow down Parkinson disease. Selegiline does not cure Parkinson disease and should be combined with levodopa/carbidopa.
