Sandimmune

Generic name: Cyclosporine

Sandimmune is a medicine for the organ rejection prevention after the heart, liver, kidney transplants. It is combined with adrenal corticosteroids. It may treat chronic rejection in previously treated patients with some immunosuppressive agents. It may also be used by your physician to treat certain other conditions.

It refers to immunosuppressants. The exact mechanism of its work is unknown, but it blocks lymphocytes action (white blood cells).
