Roxicet is used to manage pain (moderate to moderately severe). It may also be used by your physician to treat certain other conditions.
The medicine refers to analgesic, antipyretic and narcotic combination. The narcotic works by binding to opioid receptors in the spinal cord and brain. The analgesic and antipyretic lowers the formation of chemicals reducing pain, including prostaglandins.
