Generic name: Potassium Bicarbonate

Quick-K is a medicine to prevent/treat low levels of potassium in blood when potassium, taken from the diet is not enough. It may treat low levels of potassium associated with certain diseases; severe or prolonged diarrhea or vomiting; some medicines, including diuretics, corticosteroids; surgery, or some other conditions. It may also be used by your physician to treat certain other conditions.

It refers to electrolytes. It provides potassium when you have low potassium levels in the blood.
