Generic name: Pentoxifylline
Pentoxil is a medicine to treat intermittent claudication (cramping, pain, numbness, or weakness in the hip, thigh, buttocks, or foot). It may also be used by your physician to treat certain other conditions.
It refers to xanthine derivative and blood flow enhancer. It thins blood and improves the flexibility of red blood cells, thus making the blood flow move freely through veins.
