Pamidronate is a medicine to treat high levels of calcium in blood caused by cancer. The medicine is also used to treat bone tumors and Paget disease due to cancer of certain types. It may also be used by your physician to treat certain other conditions.
It refers to bisphosphonates. It decreases the loss of bones (normal and abnormal), promoting the strength of bones. It also decreases high level of calcium in blood.
