Prevpac is used to treat duodenal ulcer and H. pylori infection in certain patients.
It refers to the combination of penicillin antibiotic, macrolide antibiotic, and proton pump inhibitor. It decreases stomach acid and kills H. pylori bacteria. This promotes ulcer healing and prevents its reoccurrence.
