Generic name: Trimetrexate
Neutrexin is a medicine to treat moderate to severe forms of Pneumocystis carinii pneumonia (PCP) in weak immune system patients, including patients having AIDS. It is also used when standard treatment cannot be used. This medicine may be combined with leucovorin.
It refers to anti-infective agents. It inhibits protein, RDA/DNA synthesis, causing cells death.
