Maxair is a medicine to prevent/treat asthma symptoms. It may be taken alone or combined with certain other medicines. It may also be used by your physician to treat certain other conditions.
It refers to beta agonists. It relaxes smooth muscle situated around the air tubes (bronchioles), thus opening the lung air tubes. This promotes easier flow of air into and out of lungs.
