Mavik is a medicine to treat high blood pressure. It may also be used to improve survival of patients after a heart attack or prevent hospitalization. It may be used alone or combined with certain other medicines. It may also be used by your physician to treat certain other conditions.
The medicine refers to angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (ACE inhibitors). It helps blood vessels relax. This decreases high blood pressure.
