Librax is a medicine to treat irritable bowel syndrome, enterocolitis (inflammation of intestine) and stomach ulcers. It may also be used by your physician to treat certain other conditions.
It refers to anticholinergic and benzodiazepine combination. Benzodiazepine reduces muscle spasms, anxiety and causes sedation. Anticholinergic relaxes intestinal and stomach muscles and reduces stomach acid.
