Imiglucerase

Imiglucerase is a medicine to treat Gaucher disease of type I causing thrombocytopenia (low level of platelets), anemia (low levels of red cells in blood), liver or spleen enlargement, or bone disorders.

It refers to enzymes. It supplies the body with enzymes identical to the ones naturally  found in the body. Lacking the enzymes, substances are accumulated in the bone marrow, spleen, liver, intestine, kidney, lung causing complications, including thrombocytopenia and anemia.
