Idursulfase is a medicine to treat MPS II (mucopolysaccharidosis type II, Hunter syndrome).
It refers to lysosomal enzymes. It increases the iduronate-2-sulfatase level in Hunter syndrome patients whose body does not produce enough enzymes.
