Glyset is a medicine to treat diabetes of type 2 in adult patients who cannot control their diabetes with diet alone. It may be used alone, combined with insulin or certain other oral diabetes medicines.
Acarbose refers to glucosidase inhibitors. It slows down enzyme turning carbohydrate to glucose. This lowers the level of sugar in blood after meals.
