Genotropin is a medicine to treat adults and children when not enough growth hormone is produced by the body. It is also used in children with affected growth caused by Prader-Willi syndrome, Turner syndrome, or other disorders. It may also be used by your physician to treat certain other conditions.
The medicine refers to growth hormones identical to the natural growth hormones found in the body. It interferes with the growth of muscles, internal organs, tissues and bones of the body.
