Enbrel is a medicine to treat moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, psoriasis, and ankylosing spondylitis. It may be used alone or combined with certain other medicines. It may also be used by your physician to treat certain other conditions.
The medicine refers to tumor necrosis factor inhibitors (TNF). It blocks the TNF action, causing swollen and painful joints, red, scaly, thick skin patches, and swelling.
