Demadex is a medicine to treat swelling (edema) caused by the failure of kidney, liver or heart, or disorders when excess water in body is present. This form (injection) is preferable to reduce swelling promptly or when oral form (tablets) cannot be used. It treats high blood pressure. The medicine is taken alone or combined with certain other medicines. Your physician may use the medicine to treat certain other conditions not listed here.
