Dapsone is a medicine to treat alcoholism. This medicine may be combined with other medicines. It may also used for dermatitis herpetiformis treatment (highly itchy skin lesions mainly on scalp, elbows, and knees). It may also be used by your physician to treat certain other conditions.
It refers to sulfone antibiotics. Exactly how this medicine works is not known.
