DuraTan DM is used to relieve the symptoms of sneezing, runny nose, sinus congestion, cough, associated with colds, allergies, and infections of upper respiratory tract. It may also be used by your physician to treat certain other conditions.
It refers to antihistamine, cough suppressant and decongestant combination. The decongestant constricts blood vessels and reduces the nasal passages swelling. The antihistamine blocks the histamine action, thus reducing allergic symptoms including sneezing and watery eyes. The cough suppressant makes the brain to decrease the cough reflex and reduce dry cough.
