Clarinex-D 24 Hour is a medicine for the relief of symptoms (short-term) of respiratory allergies or hay fever, including sneezing, runny or stuffy nose, sinus congestion, pressure, itchy nose or throat, watery or itchy eyes. It may also be used by your physician to treat certain other conditions.
It refers to the decongestant and antihistamine combination. The antihistamine blocks histamine effects, which cause allergy symptoms like sneezing, and watery eyes. The decongestant drains nasal and sinus passages, thus relieving pressure and congestion.
