Carbastat is a medicine to constrict pupils at the time of and after surgical interference. It also lowers pressure inside the eye 24 hours past cataract surgery.
It refers to cholinergic agents or miotics. The exact mechanism of its work is unknown. It decreases eye pressure by constricting certain eye parts, including the iris.
