Bivalirudin is used for hemodilution (blood thinning) in patients having unstable angina and receiving percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) or percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA). This medicine may be combined with other medicines. It may also be used by your physician to treat certain other conditions.
