Generic name: Benzoyl Peroxide / Erythromycin
Benzamycin is used for severe acne treatment. It may be used in combination with other medicines.
It refers to keratolytic agent with antibacterial effect and macrolide antibiotic combination. Benzoyl peroxide is effective due to its drying, antibacterial, and keratolytic (peeling) actions. The exact mechanism of topical erythromycin to treat acne is unknown. It may treat acne by slowing bacterial growth on the skin with the help of topically applied erythromycin.
