Avalide is a medicine to treat high blood pressure. It may also be used by your physician to treat certain other conditions.
It refers to the combination of diuretic and angiotensin II receptor blocker (A-II blocker). The A-II blocker helps blood vessels relax. It is not known how exactly the diuretic works to lover high blood pressure, but it eliminates sodium and fluid from your body.
