Generic name: tretinoin
Avita is used to treat acne. It may also be used by your physician to treat certain other conditions.
It refers to vitamins (derivative of vitamin A). The exact mechanism of its work against acne is unknown. Tretinoin may increase skin cell turnover and reduce sticking of skin cell. This decreases acne formation and promotes quick acne healing.
