Atropine

Atropine is used to lower the airway secretion and saliva production used before the surgery. It is used to treat spasms in the intestine, stomach and other organs. It is also used to neutralize the action of certain medicines. It may also be used by your physician to treat certain other conditions.

It refers to anticholinergics. It blocks the action of the chemical called acetylcholine in the intestines, stomach, urinary tract, glands including salivary gland, the nervous system and some other tissues.
