Generic name: aspirin / dipyridamole extended-release capsules
Aggrenox decreases the risk of stroke in patients who have had a stroke associated with the brain blood clot in anamnesis. It may also be used to decrease the stroke risk in patients with transient ischemic attacks (TIAs) in anamnesis, including “mini-stroke” or “warning stroke” producing stroke-like symptoms with non lasting damage.
It refers to antiplatelet combination. It prevents clots from formation in the blood.
