Aminocaproic Acid is used to treat and prevent heavy bleeding in conditions when blood clots dissolve quickly and thus cause heavy bleeding. These are the following conditions: aplastic anemia; hemophilia; stomach, lung, cervical, or prostate cancer; cirrhosis; and complications after surgery.
