AH-Chew is used to relieve running nose, congestion, itchy or watery eyes, sneezing, associated with hay fever, flu, or colds. It may also be used by your physician to treat certain other conditions.
It refers to the anticholinergic, decongestant and antihistamine combination. It blocks histamine, causing runny nose, sneezing, and watery eyes. It shrinks the mucous membranes in the nose, thus promoting nasal drainage and relieving nasal congestion, and decreases secretions in the lung, thus drying the chest.
