AH-Chew D is used to relieve congestion associated with flu, cold, allergies, or hay fever. It may also be used by your physician to treat certain other conditions.
It refers to decongestants. It constricts blood vessels, thus shrinking the congested and swollen mucous membranes (nasal tissues). This relieves the stuffy feeling (congestion), improves the mucus drainage, and nasal breathing.
