Actifed Plus temporarily relieves the symptoms of cold, hay fever, and allergy, including sneezing, runny nose, nose or throat itching, watery eyes, nasal and sinus congestion, pain, and fever. It may also be used by your physician to treat certain other conditions.
It refers to analgesic, decongestant and antihistamine combination. The antihistamine blocks histamine effects, which cause allergy symptoms like sneezing, and watery eyes. The decongestant drains nasal and sinus passages, thus relieving pressure and congestion. The analgesic makes the brain to decrease pain and fever.
