Some diseases occur without the sufferers’ fault. Cancer is one of the most terrible diseases and it has a lot of types among which leukemia is the most dangerous. Leukemia is blood cancer or the cancer of bone marrow. This cancer type is extremely difficult to treat.

Two common types of leukemia exist, they are the acute as well as the chronic forms. Immature blood gets the weight age in your body and is increased several times more than mature blood, it converts into leukemia. This type requires an immediate cure because if the blood circulates most body parts, it gets complicated to cope with the case and it leads to the blockage of the bone marrow and does not allow to make healthy normal blood cells. That is why the treatment should be fast. Myelogenous leukemia and lymphocytes leukemia represent other forms of the disease.

Leukemia is an internal process, so it is rather difficult to detect any outer symptoms. Some damage of the bone marrow or platelets lack can cause this cancer. Dysfunctional or suppressing behaviour of white blood cells with no reason are also the symptoms of leukemia. Leukemia makes the immune system weak and thus the body gets more prone to all kinds of diseases. If you suffer from frequent infections, diarrhea, the tonsils, sores in mouth, pneumonia as well as the opportunistic infections there is a possibility for these diseases to convert into leukemia.

Causes of Leukemia

Actually no evident reasons for leukemia are known. Although various viruses types which cause the problem of blood platelets balancing, artificial ionizing radiation, smoking are to a certain extent the causes of the disease.

The maternal-fatal transmission in some people has been the cause of leukemia. Some people have genetic predisposition and in their cases this is the reason for developing leukemia.

Leukemia treatment

The therapy is complicated but possible. Medicine treatment sometimes is required to recover, radiation therapy and the transplantation of bone marrow are also the ways of treating leukemia. However nothing can be guaranteed as the diagnosis does not show any outer symptoms. The stage in which leukemia is detected is also extremely important.
