Trandate is a medicine to treat high blood pressure. It may be taken alone or combined with certain other medicines (diuretics).
It may also be used by your physician to treat certain other conditions.
It refers to adrenergic receptor blockers. It blocks alpha and beta body receptors, thus decreasing blood pressure.
Do not use it in case of allergy to it,
you have heart problems,
asthma, other breathing disorders,
low blood pressure, low heartbeat.
You should contact your health care provider or physician immediately if you experience any side effects.
Many people have no side effects or minor ones. Consult the physician if any of side effects are bothersome or persist: Indigestion, dizziness, nausea, light-headedness, pain, stuffy nose, redness/swelling at the site of injection, unusual tiredness, temporary scalp tingling.
Contact the physician in case of severe side effects:
severe allergy, dark urine, chest pain, decreased sexual ability, fever, persistent sore throat, appetite loss, muscle pain/tenderness, mental/mood changes, breath shortness, stomach pain, hand/foot swelling, slow heartbeat, unusual bleeding/bruising, yellow skin/eyes, vision changes.
