Sumycin

The medicine fights bacteria. It treats various bacterial infections, including chlamydia, gonorrhea, acne, periodontitis, and urinary tract infections.

Your physician may use the medicine to treat certain other conditions not listed here.

It should be avoided while pregnancy or breast-feeding. It may harm the unborn baby. Birth control pills may become less effective due to it. Use effective birth control. It passes into breastmilk and may harm the baby. It should be avoided while breastfeeding. It should not be used in children under 8. Your teeth may become yellow/gray, it affects child’s teeth. Stay away from artificial UV rays, avoid sunlight. The medicine makes the skin more sensitive to sunlight. Be protected (clothes, sunscreen SPF 15 and more). Iron, calcium, multivitamins, laxatives, antacids should not be used together with the medicine 2 hours after/before taking Sumycin. They reduce its effect. Do not use it after the date of expiration. It may be dangerous.
