Seroquel

Seroquel refers to antidepressants. It affects some chemical action in brain.

The medicine treats some psychotic conditions symptoms in adults and also in children above 10.

Your physician may use the medicine to treat certain other conditions not listed here.

It is not used to treat dementia conditions. It may be the cause of sudden death, pneumonia, heart failure in older adults with dementia. Contact the physician in case of serious side effects, including stiff muscles, fever, confusion, irregular or fast heartbeats, uncontrolled muscle movements, sweating, severe headache, sudden numbness/weakness, and vision/ speech/ balance problems.

Suicidal thoughts may be present after the first use of the medicine, usually in patients under 24. You may need regular visits of the physician for the first twelve weeks.

Contact the physician in case of worsening of symptoms, including: anxiety, changes of mood/behavior, panic attacks, sleep problems, irritation, agitation, aggression, restlessness, hyperactivity, increased depression, suicidal thoughts.

Also consult your physician in case of allergy signs, including breathing difficulty; hives, face swelling.
