You should contact the physician before you give cold/allergy medicine to young children. Any misuse may cause death in young children. Do not use it in case of having allergy to cyproheptadine, problems with urination, stomach obstruction or ulcer, narrow-angle glaucoma, enlarged prostate. Elderly people or having debilitating disease should avoid it.

Notify the doctor if you have heart diseases, overactive thyroid, glaucoma, asthma history, high blood pressure.

The medicine may impair reactions or thinking. Be careful while driving. Do not drink alcohol. This may increase side effects.
