Leukeran

Leukeran may be the cause of suppressed function of bone marrow, infertility, some cancers, and birth defects when treating cancer.

It may also be used by your physician to treat certain other conditions.

It refers to alkylating agents. It may bind to DNA or RNA or cancer cells, promoting to decrease their reproduction and growth.

Avoid Leukeran if you have allergy to any of its ingredients, or if you are pregnant (1st trimester).

You should contact your health care provider or physician immediately if you experience any of these symptoms.

clumsiness, agitation, diarrhea, confusion, hand/foot numbness, tremors, twitching, tiredness.

Contact the physician in case of severe side effects:

Severe allergy (hives, rash, itching, tightness in the chest, swelling of the tongue/mouth/lips/face, difficulty breathing), chills, absence of period, excessive tiredness, fever, congestion, hallucinations, stomach/hip/joint pain, nausea, infertility, persistent cough, difficulty breathing, seizures, unusual bleeding/bruising, sore throat, unusual masses/lumps, skin/eyes yellowing, vomiting.
