Keflex

Keflex refers to cephalosporin antibiotics. The medicine fights bacteria.

Keflex treats various bacterial infections, including urinary tract infections, skin infections, respiratory infections, and ear infections.

Your physician may use the medicine to treat certain other conditions not listed here.

Avoid it if you have allergy to cephalexin and similar antibiotics (Omnicef, Suprax, Ceclor, Ceftin, Duricef etc.).

Notify the physician if you have stomach/intestinal disorders, liver/kidney diseases or allergy to penicillins and other drugs.

The medicine should be taken as prescribed by the physician. The medicine may relieve the symptoms before the complete treatment of infection. It is not effective against flu or cold.

Also consult your physician in case of allergy signs, including breathing difficulty; hives, face swelling.
