Feldene

Feldene refers to nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. The medicine treats inflammation or pain associated with arthritis.

Your physician may use the medicine to treat certain other conditions not listed here.

It may increase the risk of problems with heart/circulation. It is higher if you take the medicine continuously. It should not be used prior to or just after the heart bypass surgery.

Contact the physician in case of having weakness, chest pain, breath shortness, vision/balance problems, slurred speech.

It may also increase bleeding in your stomach or intestine. It may be fatal. gastrointestinal effects may occur any time. These risks are higher in older adults.

Contact the physician in case of serious side effects, including bloody, tarry or black stools, vomit looking like coffee grounds, blood coughing.

Notify the doctor on the use of any medicines for allergy, cold, pain. It may interact with various medicines. See if other medicines contain aspirin, naproxen, ketoprofen, or ibuprofen. Avoid drinking alcohol. It may cause stomach bleeding. Stay away from artificial UV rays, avoid sunlight. The medicine makes the skin more sensitive to sunlight.
